Ah...Chris, that is a great process!! Thanks for that suggestion!
I couldn't agree more, Chris.
I really feel like the Remote work has helped with my work life balance. I really hope you as a University are looking into the well being of your employees as well. I understand wanting work to still get done and it should get done, but your employees mental health and work life balance is so important as well. I hope the University values that part of our work life as well.
I agree with smaienschein
Very well said, agreed! Especially with the "Great Resignation" and difficulty with retaining employees.
I agree with smaienschein as well. We have had such a hard time filling open positions and allowing a flexible work schedule would help a lot.
it's hard to stay in a position that doesn't offer or approve flexible work schedule, especially when other places of work offer that plus a high wage...
Will the review process for remote work agreements be similar to the last time? Many of these questions were addressed in the requests, yet most were denied.
In our team, we have had the conversation about what happens if there is a power outage, internet outage, hardware/computer failure or other interruptive event, so everyone agrees on what to do when those things inevitably happen.
Thank you all!
Thank you all for your insight and suggestions! This is helpful for so many!
